• 1. Concerts – because we know each club, pub, coffee house, and concert venue has its own unique situation we would be happy to work this out individually with each venue.  

• 2. House Concert/Party – we charge between $300-$800. The fee is negotiable based on the       requirements for the event and how it fits into our schedule.  For more information about house concerts click please see below.

• 3. Wedding Receptions – we charge $600 - 1500.  This fee depends on how much time we play and how much extra preparation is involved for the event.  For example if you just need us to play some light jazz an pop tunes during dinner that might be a lower figure than if you need us to play a 3 hour dance with 10 tunes we are playing for the first time.  For more info on Wedding Receptions, please see below

• 4. Corporate Events – each corporate event is quite unique in terms of the equipment involved and the expectations for music.  Contact us directly and we would be happy to give you a quote. 

•  5. Benefits or Fundraisers – Two Options:

• a). For Larger Events – we charge between $400 - $1500.  Find someone to sponsor the event and cover our fee, than charge whatever you like for the tickets and take home all the proceeds.  If you sell 150 tickets at $20 each, you take home $3,000.

• b). For Smaller Events – we are willing to split the ticket price 50/50.  Half goes towards the charity you are raising money for and the other half goes towards covering the costs of the band.  In this situation you don’t have to put any money up front, however, if you anticipate good ticket sales, you might be better off with the first option. 

House Concerts are a great way to get an incredibly intimate musical experience. They are a perfect venue to hear the stories behind the songs Garner has written, and a chance to create an experience your guests will remember forever.

Specifics of what we do:

1. Personal – Our goal is to put on an event that you and your friends will love! We have lists below of what a normal night would look like, but if you want to change anything let us know. This night is about you and your guests.
2. Advertising Materials – We have a lot of experience promoting concerts and will happily extend our help to you. If you would like to advertise the event we have posters, websites, tickets, and plenty of other ideas to make sure that this event runs smoothly without becoming a headache for you.
3. Night Of – We come early to meet with you take care of any last minute details and then set up our stuff. We need a small space to lay out our CD’s and merchandise and space to set up our music equipment. We don’t need a lot of space and house concerts don’t need to be loud. We can come in with just acoustic guitars, a small hand drum and our voices, or if you want something bigger and louder we can bring in our own sound system, it is up to you. We just need enough space for 3 people to sit and one electrical outlet for the keyboard if we use it (if you have a tuned piano, even better). After setup we wait for your guests, meet and greet and then start playing. We generally do 2 X 45 minutes sets with a break in between. The music could vary in energy and style based on what you want. We can do soft folk and jazz ballads, high-energy rock tunes and everything in between.

What we need from you:

1. A Commitment to Promote – we are looking for a commitment that you will try to bring out at least 20-30 people for the concert or party. As we mentioned above, WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP WITH THIS!
2. An Opportunity to Sell Our CD’s – and a space to set up our merchandise display.
3. Space To Play – could be a Living Room, Backyard, Basement, or anything else that you can think of. If we are playing in a small room that can feel even more intimate because we don’t need to bring any speakers.
4. Payment – we have two options for you to choose from:

a) Donation at the Door – some people have told us they would love to host a concert and think it’s reasonable to have a donation at the door to help cover the cost of the event. This shares the expense around so that you don’t have to be out of pocket to have Garner come and play at your house.

b) Pay up front – some people have told us they prefer to cover the full cost of the event themselves and then all of the guests attend for free.

Wedding Specifics

Your wedding is a very special day in your life and we would be honored to have a part in making this day even more wonderful.  There is nothing like having a live band to do your dinner and/or dance music.  Our goal is to tailor our music to your exact tastes for the wedding.  We are used to playing very quiet in the background, rocking out for a dance, and everywhere in between.  We have a large set list covering many styles of music: jazz, rock, R&B, country, disco, pop, latin, and many others.  If our setlist does not include the song you want for your first dance we will learn it.  If you are still looking for gifts to give away to your guests we have a special deal where we allow you to pick a few songs off any of our CD’s that we will package for each of your guests.

What is a Garner concert like?

1. Engaging – Also, at our original shows and house concerts it’s not unusual to hear the stories behind our songs.
2. Personal – each concert changes to fit the unique situation of the particular event.  It’s our goal to figure out what you want the concert to look like and to shape it accordingly.
3. Diverse - somewhere along the way we forgot that musicians are supposed to stick to one style   We love all sorts of music.  For examples of this listen to our free samples of our music or e-mail us for our setlist.

1. Availability - we book some events up to a year in advance, we are usually booked solid two months in advance.  Shows outside of Ontario will require extra time and planning so we will need to know well in advance.  So please let us know ASAP so that we can fit your event into this schedule.
2. Sound Equipment – we have everything we need (speakers, microphones, instruments) to play a small concert hall or a wedding reception of up to 300 people, if you need something larger than this we know some fine sound companies we can bring.
3. Length – this completely depends on the event.  We would be talk this over with you to make sure its to your liking.
